Guiseley Whites U7s were back in action at the Crossleys JFC mini soccer tournament. The Whites came into the event having not played any of the teams before.
The first game went well from start to finish, beating St Columbas with ease. Next in the fireing line was Northowram Bulls who were also put to the sword by the Whites. Beacon Rangers were a tougher nut to crack, with the Rangers keeper pulling off a number of saves the game ended in a draw. Deighton Town were swept aside as the Whites stepped up another gear, the boys where definitely on fire today. Moston Junior Blues came next and they held the Whites until midway through the match. A goal came for the Whites which seemed to be the winner, but Moston scored with seconds to go to snatch a draw. Warley Whites came next and the White defence was as strong as ever. As the boys pushed forward for the winner, it came near the end of the game. With one more game to go the Whites were still unbeaten. The host Crossleys were the last game for the Whites and they too were swept aside by the unbeatable Whites.
It was a proud day for the parents to watch the boys play so well.
They also won Most Sporting Team at the tournament, which was voted for by the other teams.
