Temple Juniors 0 – 9 Guiseley Yellow

Temple Juniors 0 – 9 Guiseley Yellow

A good run out today for nearly a full strength squad.

Unfortunately, Temple were under strength and Guiseley really punished them.

Stephen opened the scoring in the first half and soon after Finlay doubled the lead. Guiseley were never troubled and before the first half ended Tom added another two goals to bring the score to 4-0 to Guiseley at the break.

We made plenty of changes today and in the second half Stephen scored his second of the game. Sam J was having a good game, plenty of hard work over the last few weeks paid off with him scoring twice. Luke M got himself a goal, and Jamie bagged one, well deserved for all his hard work again.

Declan, Fred, Arjan and Eathan all had chances, and in the end the boys starting having fun in the goal area, if they passed the ball around between themselves the scoreline could have been unbelievable.

The boys passed the ball well, won the first ball, put the tackles in, they really wanted this and I think they reaal enjoyed themselves out there.

Poor old Luke S touched the ball once in the hole game, and the defence cleared up everything very quickly, allowing the midfield and forwards to have shots when they felt like it.

Full credit has to go to Temple Juniors, they never gave up, never blamed each other, and played and tried to the very end.

Team: Luke S, Robert (c), Declan, Matthew, Jake, Eathan, Fred, Finlay, Tom, Jamie, Stephen, Alex, Arjan, Luke M, Sam J

Goals: Stephen (2), Tom (2), Sam J (2), Finlay, Luke M, Jamie.

Man of the Match: Stephen, always wanted the ball, two great goals, well done.

Thanks to Bill who continues to inspire the boys to victory.

Next game at home, kick off 10.30am. Guiseley Yellow v Guisely Blue
