Pre-season review

Pre-season review

As we concluded the pre-season friendlies unbeaten with plenty of goals and lots of reasons to be looking forward to the new season.

All boys played in at least 1 of the games and had a go in different positions. A great game away to Thackley ended in deserved 3-3 draw with two goals from Bolan and one from Dan. This was followed by a trip to Silsden.  A small pitch but big hearts from both teams.

An even start from both sides, before we broke the deadlock with quick fire goals from Joel and Bolan, Joel then struck a superb volley from the half way line over the keeper before tricky winger Oliver Bolton added a 4th. Max and Dylan had been solid at the back and kept Silsden at bay.  Second half saw Callum join Max at the back and again they thwarted all attacks and started a string of attacks which produced more goals and even more misses ! Bolan completed his hat trick, Dylan added a couple of great individual goals, Callum fired home from distance and an unfortunate OG.  Another good run out with some great football played by all,  we head to the league high on confidence.
