A grey, dull day for Leeds City juniors visit to Littlemoor. They started lively – Harry Sandham and Marc were busy in defence. In the 4th Harry Wade cleared a corner off the line. This was followed by our first shot from Benn which their goalie held. Ryan fired in a cross which just eluded an outstretched Callum. They broke the deadlock in the 8th with a close range shot 0-1. We came back at them Callum and Ryan coming close – Rory sending some good balls out from defence, After a studs high tackle Ryan fired in a free kick which went just wide. In the 16th minute a cross from them ended in our net 0-2. We came back at them again and Ryan drew a great save from their goalie – Sam volleyed in shortly afterward – the goalie held it. They put the pressure on getting numerous corners up until the 30th minute. A free kick after a tackle on Callum gave Ryan the opportunity to power a shot into their net 1-2. They came at us from the kick off – Luke made a great save in the 3rd minute – but they broke through soon afterwards to score 1-3. Lucas and Marc were hard stretched and Luke made another great save as we held them at bay. Tom came close in the 12th – surrounded by three defenders as his shot was held. Benn shot soon afterwards – held by their goalie. There was a lengthy period were Sam, Harry Wade and Harry Griffin tried to break through the midfield deadlock. In the 19th a hard tackle lead to free kick to them which sailed through a sea of bodies into our net 1-4. They broke through our disheartened ranks in the 25th to score again 1-5. Thus the game ended.
