BD7 vs Guiseley Under 11 Blues Sunday 23rd September
Guiseley Under 11 Blues were in great form and won their first match away from home in convincing fashion, 14-0 !
In a real team effort, with some very effective passing, the match was won at both ends of the pitch.
Midfielder Henry opened up the prolific goal scoring , after only a few minutes, and finished up with a hat-trick by the end of the game. His opener was closely followed by Angus, who put away four goals, including finishing a spectacular header – thank’s to Ben’s quality corner and Charlie’s aerial assistance.
Charlie and Ben also grabbed great goals –a- piece!
The other hat trick hero was Chris, whose suave skill shone throughout the game. New recruit Isaac scored in his first game for the team and then added another for good measure. The goal fest was made possible by passing and movement and superb supply from Jack and James and the rest of the midfield.
Consistent quick and clever closing down and terrific tackling from Billy, Fin and Will in defence coupled with some great saves by Harry kept a clean sheet.
Our opponents BD7 Juniors played as real sportsmen throughout and never stopped trying.
Man-of-the-Match was Henry, who ran his socks off and got his first hat trick.
Breathtaking. Wish I had been there. Granny B.
Brilliant result lads!
