Guiseley Girls u13’s (Blues) turned up at Queensbury knowing the weather would play its part in what is usually a tight game. With side-wards rain and gales force winds it took Guiseley 2 minutes to open the scoring. Ebony with a cracking effort. The conditions were poor but Guiseley were making the most of their advantage playing with the wind. Olivia went agonisingly close and minutes later Ebony scored again, a great piece of play by the girls leading up to the goal. Queensbury couldn’t get out of their half. Sian scored two quickfire goals in three minutes followed by a great goal by Helen who grabbed the fifth. Guiseley were playing some good football and by half time Jess and Ebony had added to the score. The second half and Guiseley were now playing into the wind and rain. Queensbury had their first real attack on goal but the girls defended well. Guiseley countered and Helen grabbed her second. Guiseley dominated and two more goals from Ebony gave the girls a fantastic 10-0 victory over Queenbury.
