Guiseley Blues U7 v Guiseley Whites U7- Nov 11th

The eagerly awaited Guiseley derby has arrived. At the shared venue of shaw lane, a large crowd gathered for what was the toughest match both teams have hadso far this season.

The first ten minutes was very tight, with both teams not giving much away. An own goal by the Blues kickstarted the goal, but Charlie soon got the Blues level again. Thomas hit back with a quickfire double to give the Whites a two goal lead. Max put in a great first half shift in goal and with Patrick making his debut for the Whites, what a debut it was, he was superb in defence.

The second half began wiyh the Blues attacking from the start with Charlie & Sam L scoring three goals between them. The hard work shown by Patrick in goal & Archie in defence enabled Gene to causeyhe opposition problems up front. Liam served up two great corners for Thomas to score from both to give the Whites the lead.
Max again proved to be a man mountain in defence which enabled Jack to round off a great day for the Whites with nicely taken goal. The Blues had not finished yet, Sam L scored a late goal to make it a very nervous finish. in the end the Whites edged a very close game.

Well done to both teams

Great performance in goal & evan better second half in defence.
