Guard of Honour – Guiseley AFC vs Histon – Sat 8th December 12

The Under 8’s Yellow and Blue teams will be acting as Guard of Honour for Guiseley AFC in their league match against Histon at Nethermoor on Sat 8th December.

The plan is for us to all meet outside the ground by 2.30pm (next to the astro-turf pitches & children’s playground) with the children dressed in the Guiseley kits. Parents get into the game for £5 (half price) and the children and their siblings are free. The boys will do the Guard of Honour for the players before the match and then go onto the pitch at half time for a quick training match of their own. As they are playing a match they will also need their shin pads and football boots as well as some layers, hats and gloves etc to make sure they are warm enough. There will be plenty of photo opportunities on the day and it’s a great opportunity for the boys to enjoy the atmosphere of the match and playing in front of the crowd. There will also be a photo and a piece about the teams in the match day programme so please try and bring your child along.

Please could you all send me a text to give me an idea of how many of you will be able to attend so I can give the organisers an idea of how many parents will be going through the gate at half price.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Simon
