Burley Rangers v Whites U7s

Burley Rangers v Whites U7s

A bitterly cold wet morning awaited the whites as they arrived at Burley

Both teams started well, doing the right things with the ball. A much improved Burley scored first with an own goal, but they returned the favour a few minutes later. The Whites tried to take control of the game with some good passing, but the conditions made it difficult. Burley got a goal to take the lead again, but the whites reacted quickly as Liam scored with a cool finish.

The second half started with the teams level, but  Archie quickly struck a nice goal which was followed by a goal from Thomas. Burley soon reacted to pull a goal back, but the Whites stepped up a gear. Jack’s hard work paid off with a goal, then Gene scored with a cool finish from a through ball from Thomas. Archie got his second with a couple of minutes to go and celebrated with a forward somersault. In the last minute the Whites got their first penalty of the season, which Thomas coolly put away. The game ended in victory for the Whites against a much improved Burley team.

Well done boys for the hard work put in today.
