Burley Rangers v Guiseley Whites U7s

Guiseley went to Burley full of confidence after last weeks great start to the season and we continued in the same form straight from the Kick-off.

In the first half Max did well in goal, keeping out all but one close range effort. In Defence Liam controlled their attacking options really well, not only did he defend very well he also got a first half hat-trick.

In Midfield both Archie and Jack were a constant threat and their pace and trickery caused Burley all sorts of problems. Jacks free kick at the end of the first half was a screamer, from a wicked angle it flew into the top corner. Sam was again at the heart of everything and as well as scoring another hat-trick defended superbly from the front. Gene returned from a broken arm and played very well and wasn’t shirking any tackles and got his reward with a debut goal.

The second half continued the same way, Jack replaced Max in goal who went into defence and later upfront. With only one sub we tired towards the end but ended on a high with every player getting on the score sheet after Max’s first of the season.

Man of the match went to Archie, a tireless effort, a great goal and a better celebration and will be missed next week. Well done guys another great performance.
