Welcome to U10s Girls – Season 2017-18

After a hugely successful season last year we now move into the new season as the team to beat.

As the current cup holders teams will be looking at our fixtures as the ones to test themselves. Having kept all the same team as last year i’m sure we can again have a hugely successful year and once again improve our skills as a team. We are now playing in a league with more teams as the girls section of football becomes more and more popular. We will play a couple of teams we already know and some new teams to test ourselves against. We will continue to play 1 gala a month and also have the cup competition so there are plenty of matches to keep ourselves busy over the year.

Training this year moves to a Wednesday evening 6pm till 7pm at St Marys in the sports hall, with our home matches again at shaw lane, this time on the bigger pitches kicking off at 11am.

We luckily enough managed to secure wonderful sponsors for the upcoming season who have generously allowed us to purchase brand new kits and training tops so we will all look the part.

The coaching setup for this year will remain as me, Dan Fletcher, as head coach, i have also managed to convince Juan Londono to assist me as Assistant coach and he will be looking at improving individual skills and assisting with the team. We hope that together we can improve the players again this season and look forward to the challenge ahead.

This season we will be updating this website regular with match reports and information regarding fixtures so please keep a regular eye on the website.

We are constantly looking to recruit new players so get the message out there that Guiseley Girls is the place to play football and see you all at training.
